Writer and Poetry Editor
Alexandra Meehan is a poetry editor and writer. She is a creative writing and literature graduate of the University of South Florida as well as a freelance contractor. She currently resides in Tampa, Florida with her husband, three rescue cats, and her carnivorous plant garden. She also loves anything with chocolate or cheese. Alexandra is also the co-founder of Ariel Poets; a social media platform/account for writers Tweeting feminism and poetry inspiration.
Alexandra draws inspiration from film Noir, psychoanalytic theory, feminist theory, philosophy, mathematics, linguistics, and horror. She enjoys form poetry and paradoxical literature.
Alexandra's work can be found in The Gainesville Sun, Eber & Wein, The Florida Book of Poetry, and The Feminine Collective. Her poetry is also upcoming in Dark Marrow, an offshoot magazine published by Rhythm and Bones.
